Peja denies selling seats

The Bersatu deputy president says PN would not be in its current financial state if it was "selling seats" as previously claimed.

SEREMBAN:
Negeri Sembilan PN chairman Ahmad Faizal Azumu has denied claims that the coalition has “sold seats” to candidates for Saturday’s state polls.

The Bersatu deputy president, who is also known as Peja, said PN would not be in its current financial state if it was “selling seats” as previously claimed.

In a Sinar Harian report last week, an independent candidate for the Sikamat seat, Hafiz Baharudin, claimed PN was involved in selling seats in Negeri Sembilan after “casting aside winnable candidates and replacing them with weak ones”.
