Three weeks ago, she claimed trial to 17 charges of money laundering amounting to RM14 million.
If found guilty, she faces a jail term of between five and 15 years, and a fine of RM5 million or more under Section 4 (1) of the Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Terrorism Financing and Proceeds of Unlawful Activities Act.
