MACC drops in at Najib’s house

Deputy commissioner Azam Baki says the officers were only there to get information to assist in investigations.

KUALA LUMPUR:
The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) today paid a visit to the house of former prime minister Najib Razak at Jalan Langgak Duta here.

However, MACC deputy commissioner Azam Baki said the officers were only there to get information to assist in the agency’s investigations.

“There was no raid at Najib’s house today. MACC officers were at the house to get information for investigation purposes,” he said.

He offered no further details on either the investigation or the visit.

A police patrol car was seen arriving at Najib’s house together with five other vehicles at 11am. They left the house at 12.30pm.
