Najib to be summoned this week over FB posting against Nga

Police say the former prime minister has been informed.

Bukit Aman will question Najib Razak over a Facebook posting against Teluk Intan MP Nga Kor Ming.
KUALA LUMPUR:
Former prime minister Najib Razak will be called to Bukit Aman this week to assist police investigation into his alleged defamatory statement against Teluk Intan MP Nga Kor Ming.

Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department director Huzir Mohamed said this had been conveyed to Najib.

Police would also call Nga to record his statement, Huzir told reporters today.

On Sept 29, a statement insulting the Sultan of Selangor was posted on Facebook through the “Nga Kor Ming Super Fans Page”, allegedly asking the Chinese to protest against the sultan who had decreed bilingual road signs in Selangor to be removed.

Nga denied that he and the DAP were involved in the posting and claimed it was a fake Facebook account.

Subsequently, Nga urged police to investigate the “Najib Razak” Facebook page over a posting on the matter.
