
She said both Selangor and Kuala Lumpur were no longer under a full movement control order (MCO) and the roadblocks had led to traffic congestion when people just wanted to go to work or send their children to school.
“For example, the roadblocks at the Jalan Duta, Damansara and Bukit Jelutong toll plazas are meaningless because inter-district travel has already been allowed.
“I also pity the policemen and army personnel who have to stay under the intense heat. Yesterday, temperatures rose to 44 degrees Celsius,” she said in a Facebook post.
Selangor and Kuala Lumpur transitioned from an MCO to a conditional MCO last Friday, with inter-district travel allowed within states and federal territories.
Interstate travel is still banned nationwide, except for tourism activities in states under the recovery MCO.
