Hadi Awang admitted to IJN, in stable condition

The PAS president’s son denies rumours that the veteran leader has been warded in the ICU.

Abdul Hadi Awang’s son has denied that his father was in a critical condition.
PETALING JAYA:
PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang has been admitted to the National Heart Institute (IJN) and is said to be in stable condition.

In confirming this, Hadi’s son, Muhammad Khalil, also denied that his father was in a critical condition, as some had claimed.

“I received some inquiries after that message (on him being in critical condition) circulated.

“Most of the contents are untrue and exaggerated.

“I will provide an update on his condition from time to time,” he said on Facebook, referring to claims that his father had been warded in the intensive care unit and was unconscious.

Khalil also called on everyone to pray for his father’s recovery.

In April, Hadi was admitted to IJN for a follow-up treatment.

He had previously been admitted to the same hospital on Feb 15 after complaining of being unwell and suffering from shortness of breath.

He was later treated for fatigue.
