Rohana Johan returns to HKL as director

She replaces Dr Heric Corray, who retired on July 16.

PETALING JAYA:
Dr Rohana Johan is the new Hospital Kuala Lumpur (HKL) director, replacing Dr Heric Corray, who retired on July 16.

Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah made the announcement in a Facebook post this morning, saying that Rohana’s appointment was effective from July 19.

Before this, Rohana had been Hospital Serdang’s director since 2016. She had also served as deputy director at HKL.

Her other roles included being the deputy director (medical) at Hospital Serdang, as well as working at various levels in the Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya health departments, HKL, Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun (Ipoh), Hospital Sibu and Sarawak General Hospital (Kuching).

Rohana is a public health medical consultant with experience in both the clinical and management aspects of healthcare.
