
In a series of Tweets, the Lembah Pantai MP said the PH steering committee for transformation and political stability, which met today, discussed the remaining five criteria yet to be implemented.
These include the anti-hopping law, which he said must be tabled and passed in the first Parliament sitting of the year. Meanwhile, the Parliamentary Services Act would be implemented by March.
He added amendments to the Standing Orders are currently being coordinated, and amendments to limit the Prime Minister’s term to no longer than 10 years are still being finalised.

Fahmi added reforms to the judiciary are also ongoing.
Meanwhile, he said the issue of equal funding for all MPs was also brought up during the meeting.
Besides Fahmi, the meeting today was attended by other MPs from PH including Saifuddin Nasution Ismail (Kulim-Bandar Baharu), Gobind Singh Deo (Puchong), Anwar Ibrahim (Port Dickson) and Loke Siew Fook (Seremban).
Meanwhile, representatives from the government included finance minister Tengku Zafrul Aziz, home minister Hamzah Zainudin, law minister Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar, and energy and natural resources minister Takiyuddin Hassan.
