PETALING JAYA:
The “10K Solidarity with Palestine” rally organised by PAS attracted a crowd of 5,000 people this afternoon.

According to Sin Chew Daily, the crowd started to gather at the Asy-Syakirin Mosque near KLCC at around 2pm before marching to the US embassy.

It was reported that many of the participants were waving Palestinian flags while chanting slogans such as “Hidup Islam” and “Hancur Israel” during the march.

Meanwhile, Dang Wangi police chief Noor Dellhan Yahaya reportedly said 200 officers were on duty to maintain security.

PAS organised the rally to show solidarity with Palestine in the ongoing war with Israel in the Gaza Strip.
