PETALING JAYA:
A motorcyclist was killed in Klang this morning after being rammed by a car driven by a man later found to be under the influence of alcohol and drugs.

The driver, a man in his 20s, has been arrested, Sinar Harian reported. He had been seen to be driving dangerously at high speed from Jalan Raya Barat towards the Klang city centre.

“The driver is believed to have overtaken several vehicles before colliding with a motorcycle coming from the opposite direction at 11.40am,” Klang Selatan police chief Lim Jit Huey was quoted as saying.

Lim said the collision flung the motorcyclist, a man in his 30s, on to another car. He died at the scene from his injuries.

A dashcam video clip posted online showed an overtaking car in the opposite lane crashing into an oncoming motorcyclist.
