PETALING JAYA:
The Perlis road transport department (JPJ) seized a RM2.3 million Lamborghini Revuelto sports car during daily operations around Jalan Kuala Perlis-Changlun recently.

Perlis JPJ director Noraini Nawi said the vehicle was seized after inspection found its motor vehicle licence had expired and that the car was not covered by insurance.

Road tax for the Revuelto is estimated at between RM10,000 and RM12,000 a year.

The car was among six luxury vehicles seized by Perlis JPJ since January, Noraini told Harian Metro.

The Revuelto is a mid-engine sports car unveiled in 2023, and is Lamborghini’s first plug-in hybrid. It features a 6.5-litre V12 petrol engine, complemented by three electric motors that produce a combined power of 746.5kW in an all-wheel drive configuration.

It has a reputed top speed of 350km/h and accelerates from 0-100km/h in 2.5 seconds.
