Videos circulating online show the woman sitting on an outer ledge of the terminal, drawing the attention of bystanders.
In some posts, a person wearing a high-visibility jacket is seen approaching the woman from behind moments before she fell.
The incident quickly went viral, with many users questioning whether the situation was handled appropriately as the woman appeared have been startled and lost her balance.
The woman is believed to have suffered injuries and taken to hospital, China Press reported. Her condition was unknown.
FMT has sought comment from KLIA and the police, who have yet to issue a statement on the incident.
