PETALING JAYA:
Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah deputy president Masidi Manjun has been appointed as one of five deputy chairmen in ruling state coalition Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS).

This follows the departure of Usno from GRS. Usno president Pandikar Amin Mulia was formerly a deputy chairman in the coalition.

The other four GRS deputy chairmen remain the same, namely Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) president Dr Joachim Gunsalam, Anifah Aman (Parti Cinta Sabah), Liew Yun Fah (Parti Harapan Rakyat Sabah) and Chin Su Phin (Liberal Democratic Party).

Masidi’s previous post of GRS secretary-general is now filled by Papar MP and federal domestic trade and cost of living minister Armizan Mohd Ali, who was previously the coalition’s deputy secretary-general.

PBS information chief Joniston Bangkuai has been reappointed GRS information chief.

The coalition also appointed two new faces to its top leadership, with PBS’s Lo Su Fui taking over as GRS treasurer-general from Ardino Diris.

Lo, the Tawau MP, is also deputy federal territories minister and deputy treasurer-general of PBS.

The other fresh face in the GRS leadership lineup is Gagasan Rakyat secretary-general Razali Rali, who takes over from Armizan as GRS deputy secretary-general.
