
One seat, Beluran, is still being negotiated. The candidate for the seat will only be known on nomination day, Nov 5.
In GE14, the seat was won by Ronald Kiandee on an Umno ticket. He later defected to Bersatu, which is now part of GRS.
Meanwhile, BN will also field a candidate for the Bugaya state seat. A by-election for the seat will be held concurrently with GE15.
Abdul Aziz Ibno, of Umno, will be contesting in the Bugaya by-election.
Of the 24 candidates for parliamentary seats announced, three are state ministers and three others are assistant ministers.
