PETALING JAYA: Umno vice-president Johari Ghani has called on voters in Selangor to back PH and BN as both coalitions had a good track record governing the state.
“BN had governed Selangor for 60 years before we lost and the state was governed by PH. But we can see that PH is also doing good at developing the state,” he said during a walkabout at the AU2 Setiawangsa morning market with PH’s candidate for Hulu Kelang, Juwairiya Zulkifli.
The New Straits Times quoted the Titiwangsa MP as saying that the foundation of an effective federal and state government lies in political stability and capable leaders, as this drives the economy and brings benefits to the people.
