PETALING JAYA:
Former Second Finance Minister Ahmad Husni Hanadzlah has asked the public to respect his decision to retire from his posts in the Cabinet and Umno.

In an official statement on the Barisan Nasional website yesterday, Ahmad Husni asked to be given space and time to rest after choosing to relinquish his posts for personal reasons.

“I have retired from all my posts. Let me rest. Please respect my wishes. Thank you,” he said briefly.

He has been replaced by Johari Abdul Ghani for the post of Second Finance Minister.

He remains Tambun MP.
