Tunku Ismail on Sunday, uploaded the 23-second video on the Johor Southern Tigers’ Facebook page, together with a message of unity.
The video shows six men in red shirts and black masks performing silat moves, smashing bricks and sticks on one another, before the camera focusses on the prince, who is seen firing a few shots at the men’s direction.
After firing the shots, Tunku Ismail looks into the camera with a straight face, shrugs his shoulders and walks off screen.
In the message accompanying the video, Tunku Ismail said he was neither on the side of the “red nor the yellow shirts”, but firmly on the side of Bangsa Johor, for it was the symbol of unity.
He also urged the rakyat to shun violence and hatred and to stay positive.
The Red Shirts had on Saturday, held a silat demonstration in front of the Malaysiakini office.
During the demonstration, Red Shirts members performed silat moves and chanted slogans demanding that Malaysiakini be shut down for having received funding from American billionaire George Soros.
