DAP Keranji assemblyman Chong Zhemin, who made the report at the Ipoh police contingent, urged police to investigate the threat and find out the real identity of the Facebook user named “Jing Hong”.
“Both of you from Pakatan Harapan make me mad, you both wait. I will kill you, both of you will accompany Teoh Beng Hock,” read the Facebook post in Mandarin accompanied with a picture of a pistol.
Teoh Beng Hock was the political aide to DAP assemblyman Ean Yong Hian Wah, who was found dead in 2009 on the rooftop of a building adjacent to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) office in Shah Alam.
Nga is the Dewan Rakyat deputy speaker, Teluk Intan MP and Aulong assemblyman, while Liew was recently appointed a senator as well as the deputy defence minister.
Chong said the Facebook posting was a form of criminal intimidation and punishable under Section 506 of the Penal Code with up to seven years in jail, a fine, or both on conviction in court.
He said he would also lodge a report with the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) to identify the Facebook user.
