Magistrate Ahmad Afiq Hasan issued the order following an application by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) today.
According to an MACC source, the woman, 39, was arrested at her office at about 7pm yesterday.
She allegedly solicited RM1.5 million from a representative of a property company which wanted a tender for the sale of a piece of government property in Hong Kong.
It is learnt that the woman had obtained part of the payment.
