PETALING JAYA:
Johor police have confirmed receiving a report about two boys spotted riding on the back of a moving car in Pasir Gudang.

Seri Alam police chief Ismail Dollah said a report had been lodged after a social media user complained today about the stunt, shown on a video posted at a Facebook page for Komunity Taman Scientex.

“The action of the children and driver is dangerous to themselves and other road users,” said Ismail, according to The Star Online. “Not only that, the car is also seen speeding through a red light,” he added.

The boys are shown sitting on the boot lid as well as lying prone on the rear windscreen while the car speeds down a busy road, believed to be in Taman Scientex, Pasir Gudang.

FMT is trying to get more information from the person who posted about the incident.

Ismail said police have launched an investigation to identify the car owner or driver, and the two boys involved in the incident.

He urged those with information about the stunt to phone the state police hotline at 07-2212999 or lodge a report at the nearest police station.
