PETALING JAYA:
Najib Razak today challenged Nga Kor Ming to lodge a police report after the DAP leader claimed to be the victim of a fake Facebook posting by the former prime minister.

The post which Nga claimed was fake was caught in a screenshot purportedly showing a posting by the “Nga Kor Ming Super Fans” page which Najib claimed was “inciteful” towards the Selangor ruler over the issue of bilingual road signs.

Nga later said that while the screenshot appeared to be from a page calling itself “Nga Kor Ming Super Fans”, checks found that it was actually from a Chinese page named “Ju Xi Wan Yak”.

Neither page is connected to him or DAP, he added.

He also urged Najib to apologise to Malaysians for using a fake Facebook posting to defame him and incite the people to hate him and DAP.

In his latest post on the issue, Najib said he was impressed that Nga could claim the posting was fake despite him sharing the link directly to the post before this and the thousands of comments on the posting before it was removed by the “Nga Kor Ming Super Fans” page.

“Nga needs to lodge a police report and post the report on his page to prove he really lodged a police report and not just say so.

“Let’s see if he dares lodge a false report or not,” he said.

Najib added that various parties already had evidence in the form of “internet cache”, “browser cache” and screenshots.

“Thousands of people can also be witnesses.”

Najib previously said that the “Nga Kor Ming Super Fans” page history had long used his name and that he had sued Nga for a posting on the same page, leading to Nga apologising in court.
