AYER KEROH: PKR president Anwar Ibrahim said today the Pakatan Harapan (PH) Presidential Council will discuss soon the date when Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad will hand over power to him.
At a press conference at the end of the PKR national congress, Anwar said the discussions need not happen this month.
“Do not think that we need to rush this.”
He said the power transition, agreed upon by Pakatan Harapan parties in the run-up to the 14th general election, was clear, with only the date remaining uncertain.
“On the date, let me and Mahathir (discuss), but it is not an issue as it has been agreed to by PH.”
