
There were 111 new cases in the Tembok cluster in Kedah and Perak, bringing the cluster total to 1,943, while the Hentian cluster reported 83 new cases and the Cergas cluster, 55.
Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said the Matambai cluster began with an individual who was screened after exhibiting symptoms on Oct 22. The patient has been warded at a low-risk quarantine and treatment centre in Matambai, Penampang.

He said of the 333 close contact screenings, 23 tested positive while 306 people were negative and three awaiting test results.
Noor Hisham also announced that the Jeram cluster affecting the Kubang Pasu district in Kedah has officially ended. There were a total of five positive cases from the 351 close contacts screened. There were no deaths reported from the cluster.
