PETALING JAYA: A man wailed as he watched a fire engulf his wife who was trapped in a car in an accident on the North-South Highway near Sedenak in Kulai, Johor, yesterday.
A report by RTM said the woman had been trapped in the car while her husband, who was driving, had managed to free himself from the wreckage.
A video clip was widely shared on social media, gaining sympathy from netizens. It showed members of the public attempting to console the grieving man.
They also expressed anger with a lorry which was said to have collided with the car.
A report by RTM quoted Renggam Fire and Rescue department as saying that the lorry driver and his passenger escaped unhurt.
