Aiman, the PH candidate for the Sepang seat, said the incident occurred while she was at a walkabout at a morning market in the constituency.
“I was advised to rest but I want to go down to the ground and meet the people of Sepang. Pray for me that I will have strength!” she said in a Twitter post.
In a video attached to her post, Aiman could be seen seated on a chair and clasping her foot in pain following the incident.
With just three days left to campaign, time is precious for the election hopefuls as they go on the final lap to win over the voters.
Aiman is in an eight-cornered fight for one of the hotter seats to watch, with Wanita Bersatu chief Rina Harun her biggest rival.
The seat had been held by Amanah’s Hanipa Maidin for two terms. He first won it in 2013 when he was with PAS, which was then part of Pakatan Rakyat.
Also in the race are Barisan Nasional’s Anuar Basiran, Pejuang’s Che Asmah Ibrahim, Parti Utama Rakyat’s Daud Leong Abdullah, Parti Rakyat Malaysia’s R Nageswaran, and two independent candidates.
