The bodies of the 42-year-old woman and her children, aged 15 and 14, were discovered at 7.30am after a caller, believed to be a housemate, contacted the authorities.

In a statement, Selangor police chief Hussein Omar Khan said the windows of the apartment were sealed with tape.

Police also found a will and cash in an envelope.

“We believe that the deaths had occurred in the past 24 hours.

“An investigation will be carried out to determine the motive, and if there is any criminal element,” he said.
