SEPANG:
Police are searching for a couple and their three children who have been missing since reportedly going camping yesterday.

Sepang police chief Norhizam Bahaman said a report on the family’s disappearance was lodged today by a younger sibling of the 37-year-old woman, who is the mother of two boys and one girl.

The complainant said the family left their home in Sepang in a grey Perodua Alza at 11.30pm on Jan 17. She received a video clip today from her sister, informing her that the family was safe and at an unspecified campsite.

“However, police are continuing efforts to locate the complainant’s sister and her family,” he said in a statement.

The family’s disappearance had gone viral on social media.
