Bersatu sacks 2 more leaders, suspends another 2

More Bersatu leaders have been sacked and suspended today, after the party sacked three party leaders and suspended seven others last week.

It sacked Kok Lanas assemblyman and Kelantan deputy speaker Farid Zawawi, as well as Bersatu Youth exco member Wan Meor Safwat Naqiuddin Shamsuddin.

Those suspended for two terms were Mersing MP Islahuddin Abas and Bukit Bunga assemblyman Almidi Jaafar.

Disciplinary board chairman Radzi Manan said they were sacked or suspended for contravening the party constitution and its code of conduct and ethics. They may file an appeal within the next two weeks.

Those sacked last week were deputy youth chief Faiz Rahmad, Kedah deputy speaker and Sungai Tiang assemblyman Abdul Razak Khamis, and Suka Menanti assemblyman Dzowahir Ab Ghani.

The seven who were suspended last week were Perak assemblymen Ahmad Man (Kuala Sepetang) and Syed Lukman Hakim Syed Zin (Chenderoh); Perak MP Nordin Ahmad Ismail (Lumut); Pahang MP Khalib Abdullah (Rompin); Kelantan MPs Ikmal Hisham Abdul Aziz (Tanah Merah) and Khlir Nor (Ketereh) and Terengganu MP Rosol Wahid (Hulu Terengganu).
