Bukit Aman announces transfers of senior officers

All transfers will take effect on June 15.

KUALA LUMPUR:
The police today announced the transfer of four senior officers, involving positions at Bukit Aman and state contingents.

Bukit Aman corporate communications chief Julina Salehuddin said Perak police chief Noor Hisam Nordin has been appointed as Bukit Aman crime prevention and community safety department (JPJKK) director.

Other transfers involve Penang deputy police chief Alwi Zainal Abidin, who has been appointed as the new Perak police chief, while police secretary Abdul Rahman Kassim has been appointed as Penang deputy police chief.

“Pahang JPJKK chief Noor Yusof Ali has been appointed as police secretary,” Julina said in a statement.

She said all transfers would take effect on June 15.
