
SHAH ALAM: A man was killed after he was believed to have been struck by a vehicle and thrown into a 2m-deep drain along Jalan Kapar, Batu 5, in Klang early today.
Selangor fire and rescue department operations assistant director Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar said the department received a call about the incident at 3.23am.
“Seven officers and personnel in a fire engine from the Kapar station were dispatched to the scene,” he said in a statement.
The man, believed to be in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene by health ministry personnel.
