GEORGE TOWN:
An excessive amount of work took a toll on Penang opposition leader Fauzi Yusoff today.

The PAS assemblyman for Sungai Dua told FMT he felt light-headed after a breakfast at the cafeteria.

He said a nurse stationed at the state assembly building checked his blood pressure before he was sent to Penang Hospital for further checks and treatment.

The 55-year-old said his blood pressure is now stable and he is recovering.

Fauzi attributed his condition to a lack of rest, noting he also recorded a high blood pressure reading yesterday.

“Yesterday, the top reading was already more than 180,” he added.
