PETALING JAYA:
Police have classified the case of Nur Izzati Humaira Azizul, the teenager who went missing while hiking in Hulu Selangor, as sudden death.

Hulu Selangor police chief Ibrahim Husin said the 19-year-old’s body was sent to Sungai Buloh Hospital for a post-mortem yesterday, Bernama reported.

Nur Izzati was found dead yesterday afternoon, about four days after she went hiking at Bukit Changkat Asa in Hulu Bernam.

Her body was found about 500m from where she was last seen.

Nur Izzati is believed to have lost her way at 10.50am last Saturday while descending the hill with her family.

It is believed she decided to walk alone to reach the foot of the hill earlier because she felt hot and tired before she was reported missing.
