The ongoing campaign runs till Jan 31, 2020 and anyone can participate by spending a minimum of RM250 in a single receipt at a retail or food and beverage outlet at any of the international airports in Malaysia.
These are KLIA and klia2, collectively referred to as (KUL), Langkawi International Airport (LGK), Penang International Airport (PEN), Kuching International Airport (KCH) and Kota Kinabalu International Airport (BKI).
“This campaign is part of our efforts to transform our airports from mere transportation hubs into lifestyle and shopping destinations, while simultaneously rewarding our airport guests in line with Malaysia Airports’ commercial reset strategy,” said Malaysia Airports Holdings Berhad (MAHB) in a statement.
It added that winning the grand prize, was not as difficult as some would imagine, citing the example of the previous winner.
“2018’s Licence To Win campaign winner, Ryan Ong, only bought a bottle of perfume for a friend and drove away with the grand prize, an Aston Martin DB11.”
Shoppers can increase their chances of winning when they spend with any of the “Licence To Win” campaign partners – Maybank, Eraman, Boost, Malaysia Airlines and Petron.
For the first time ever, this year’s campaign is introducing a bonus prize in the form of a Ducati Monster 821 Superbike exclusively for those who shop at PEN, LGK, BKI or KCH.
Other prizes up for grabs include a McLaren VIP Paddock experience in Singapore with two return business class flight tickets and Malaysia Airlines flight tickets worth over RM180,000.
Those with their eyes on the grand prize can catch a glimpse of the McLaren 570S Coupé at KLIA’s Departure Hall.
