
Referring to the issue of the announcement date which had gone viral on the social media, Khair said the ministry always ensured that all data preparation processes for the SPM results at all levels were according to the set standard operating procedure.
“The ministry gives quality assurance that the results which are released are correct and credible, to do justice to the candidates,” he said in a statement yesterday.
The issue of the damaged optical mark reader (OMR) and financial constraints to repair it, causing the Examination Syndicate having to postpone the announcement of the results had gone viral on social media recently.
According to the viral message, a circular dated Feb 12 stated that the announcement which was supposed to be made on March 2 had been postponed to March 16.
