
PUTRAJAYA: Former prime minister Najib Razak has left the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) headquarters after being questioned for almost six hours over the 1MDB scandal.
According to sources, he was seen leaving through the rear exit of the MACC.
Earlier, it was reported that he had been summoned for questioning by the MACC and arrived at 10am.
Najib is currently facing a total of 32 charges for alleged criminal breach of trust, abuse of power and money laundering-related offences linked to SRC International and 1MDB.
Najib was last questioned by police on Oct 3.
Bukit Aman’s Commercial Crime Investigation Department is reportedly looking to call Najib and his wife, Rosmah Mansor, for more questioning to aid in the investigations.
