KUALA LUMPUR: A two-year-old girl found wandering in Taman Megah, Kajang near here on Friday has been reunited with her family.
The girl’s mother, aged 35, contacted police at about 2pm yesterday after news of her missing child spread on social media, Kajang police chief Ahmad Dzaffir Mohd Yussof said.
He said the child’s parents, who live in the same neighbourhood, went to the Kajang police headquarters to claim their daughter.
“We were told the child had gone outside to play. The front door of the house was closed but not locked,” he said.
Dzaffir thanked the public for spreading the news of the lost child.
