The EMCO over most parts of Selangor came into effect on July 3 and was slated to last for two weeks until today.
During the EMCO, residents were not allowed to leave their homes except to purchase basic necessities within a radius of 10km. Only one person was permitted in a car.
People were also not allowed to jog or exercise outside. Travel for vaccination, however, was allowed.
Although the EMCO in all eight districts that came under the order has been lifted, some localities in Selangor will be placed under targeted EMCO in the districts of Hulu Langat, Petaling, Klang and Gombak from July 18 to July 31.
These are the Damai Apartment, PJS 8, Damansara; Jalan Pandan Indah, Ampang; Jalan Batu Nilam, Bandar Bukit Tinggi, Klang; and Taman Samudera, Batu.
Other than that, 13 localities in Kuantan, Pahang will go under EMCO from July 18 to July 31. These are; Tanjung Lumpur, Peramu, Anak Air, Sg Derhaka, Kempadang, Sg Soi, Kg Pahang, Taman Seri Inderapura, Taman Indera Sempurna, Taman Tas & Pandan, Sungai Isap, Lorong Seri Teruntum and Taman Impianku.
Taman Chengal in Temerloh will also go under EMCO from July 18 to July 31.
In Sabah, Kampung Pinolobuh Bukid, Kota Belud; PPR Taman Ehsan, Kudat; and the palm oil plantation at KLK Lungmanis and its factory quarters in Silabukan, Lahad Datu will also go under lockdown.
In Sarawak, three localities in Kuching will go under lockdown. These are: Kampung Seratau, Kampung Astana Lot and Kampung Sungai Bedil Besar.
Meanwhile, several EMCOs will be lifted tomorrow. In Sabah, these are in: Kampung Pantai Emas, Kota Belud; Kampung Iban Kuala Nansang, Tawau; and Kampung Babagon, Penampang.
In Kedah, EMCOs will be lifted at Jimat Jaya Sdn Bhd and its workers’ quarters, Kawasan Industri Ringan Bukit Makmur, Kuala Muda. In Penang, the EMCO at Taman Nagasari, Mukim 6, Seberang Perai Tengah will also end tomorrow.
The EMCO at Taman Desaria, Seremban, in Negeri Sembilan will end on July 18.
On EMCO extensions, Ismail said the EMCO at Kampung Siasai Dundau, Kota Belud and also Kampung Naruntung, Pitas, both in Sabah, will be extended until July 31.
Meanwhile, the SOP compliance task force ordered 65 premises comprising factories, businesses and construction sites to close yesterday.
Ismail said police also arrested 416 individuals for non-compliance of SOPs – where 404 were fined and 12 remanded.
