3-year-old boy found abused, cops hunt guardian

The suspect, a man in his 40s, has been looking after the boy since January.

PETALING JAYA:
Police are looking for the guardian of a 3-year-old boy who was found with injuries to the face and body yesterday.

Ampang Jaya police chief Farouk Eshak said the toddler had been taken to hospital for observation and treatment.

He said the toddler’s guardian, a man in his 40s, is being sought on suspicion of having committed child abuse. The man had been looking after the boy since January, as the parents are serving a prison sentence for drug offences.
