
PETALING JAYA: Terengganu PAS Youth has lodged a report with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission against the deputy prime minister over a speech which the wing says reeked of bribery.
The state’s PAS Youth chief Harun Esa, who questioned the timing of the speech, said they have submitted a video of the speech, which has since gone viral, as evidence, Utusan Malaysia reported.
On Friday, Ahmad Zahid Hamidi announced grants to the Terengganu Malaysia Youth Council and motorcycle teams throughout the state among others and said that the sum could be increased depending on the outcome of the Aug 12 polls.
